Almost all athletes will benefit from regular use of a wobble board. Sports involving obvious balance skills will benefit the most, but the truth is that anyone who stands on their own two feet will gain by using a wobble board.
Runners, surfers, dancers, rugby, shooters, skiers, skateboarders, netballers etc will all be able to improve their athletic skills by improving their balance, developing their proprioceptive senses and by strengthening the muscles and joints in the legs. Using the wobbleboard will also enhance coordination and reflexes.
Most athletes require a finely honed sense of balance, and good proprioceptive skills enable the athlete to learn what his/her body does during competition. Being able to analyze and then repeat these feelings exactly leads to peak performances which in turn lead to competitive excellence.
